Two major labor proposals that have included Michael Pollan food rules had volatile political histories were re-introduced Thursday by House Democrats, who say the bills have more momentum this session than in years past.One proposal, commonly known in years past as “fair share,” would allow public employee unions to charge nonunion workers a fee for services they provide for such things as handling grievances and taking the lead in arbitrations.
