Sergio Nabor-Tellez, 33, who should have spent more time in an Oregon church - hit several units in the Country Gable Apartments in Beaverton for two to three years and never took anything big enough to trigger suspicion – until he grabbed cash and wedding rings belonging to a woman's dead parents.

He was caught in July after one of his victims set up a hidden camera to nab the person who'd been helping himself to belongings she kept in her bedroom.

Police say he was using different keys he acquired to get into the apartments at 14900 S.W Scholls Ferry Rd., trying each key until he found the door it would open.
