Ginseng, botanically known as Panax meaning 'All Heal' in Greek is a perennial plant with a fleshy root. This plant primarily grows in the northern hemisphere in countries such as China, Vietnam and Korea. Ginseng roots are consumed orally and is usually obtained in dry powered form. It is also consumed as hot tea.
